Check out the kung fu moves!
A blog about my experience with the Community Stewardship Program at the Beechwood Wetland site (and the surrounding area) along the Don River in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. There will be pictures, anecdotes and garlic mustard galore.

Hello - just wanted to say I think you are really funny [in a good LOL way] and I like your observations of what you see. You seem to know a lot about plants and birds. I was doing some research for the Ontario Trails Council [OTC] as they have a new web site - what is your favorite trail around the DON or in ONT? Just curious. Cheers Sonja
Hi Sonja. Thanks for your comment! I don't know if I have a favourite trail, but I've tried a few from "Toronto's Ravines: Walking the Hidden Country" by Murray Seymour. Until I started hanging out at Beechwood wetland so much I often walked the trail from E.T. Seton Park to Pottery Road. I also enjoyed the walk along the Humber from Old Mill Station to Eglinton Ave. I always meant to explore more trails, but then I hooked up with the stewardship program and became obsessed with garlic mustard. And blogging. :)
Love your blog -- great photos and utterly charming commentary. I consulted a bird expert who confirms this goose is indeed a domesticanada.
