Last week we found a gypsy moth in our equipment box. No surprise, as this is where I found a lot of gypsy moth caterpillars several weeks ago. This is a male:

Just out of curiosity, what kind of camera are you using? Also, what setting do you use for your outdoors photos?

Hi willy. My camera is a Fujifilm FinePix S3000, several years old now. It handles basic macro shots pretty well. For outdoor photos I use the ... point and shoot setting! To be honest, I mostly leave it on auto and let the camera figure out how to do what I'm asking it to do.
