This just in: outing cancelled tonight due to the threat of rain and thunderstorms. Arrghh, the one crummy evening in weeks of beautiful weather! Stay tuned for a possible Wednesday-night outing instead.

Just wanted to thank you, your blog is GREAT! The pictures are beautiful and a person can learn a great deal about wilderness in the heart of the city! Who knew? Of course since I checked the area out in person I now stand completly corrected. . . you were right and it is a whole new world. THANKS AGAIN!
